Thanks to the highest participation of international shipyards, shipowners, and shipbuilding engineers at any expo worldwide, SMM offers a unique and indispensable occasion for manufacturers to present solutions in the field of low- and zero-carbon fuel production, hydrogen storage systems, fuel cell systems and dual fuel engines capable to use ammonia, as well as for providers of safety management, crew training and bunkering procedures.  

This is where future alliances will be forged. With the Port of Hamburg’s central role in the import, production and distribution of hydrogen as part of the North German Hydrogen Strategy, SMM is perfectly positioned to attract a broad spectrum of players and support international cooperation to achieve the IMO’s emission reduction targets.
