MARINE INTERIORS area @SMM

Inspiration for a new future of the industry

As the world's leading trade fair for the maritime industry, SMM aims to reflect the diversity of topics and to drive the transition in every sector. The segment general outfitting/interior outfitting has been an important part of SMM for many years and will receive more attention than ever in 2022. Already at SMM 2018, in addition to hall B5, we created a dedicated area for MARINE INTERIORS in hall B8, which now will be expanded in hall B6 at SMM 2022.

SMM 2022 will also be this year’s first event in Europe where the experts of the passenger ship industry will come together again. With an extensive stage programme at Cruise & Ferry Stage in hall B5 and our daily networking event “It's wine o'clock", the MARINE INTERIORS area @SMM will be the ideal platform to meet the decision-makers of the industry.

Alternating annually with the MARINE INTERIORS Cruise & Ferry Global Expo, Hamburg thus offers interior designers, architects, and manufacturers a unique and continuous presence on the European and global markets.

I believe that art, craft and design form together a strong language that records, promotes and enhances our engagement with the cultures we live in and with those we visit on our journeys. I am looking forward to sharing a stage with inspiring members of our industry at MARINE INTERIORS @SMM 2022 to discuss insights and inspirations towards a more sustainable and regenerative future. The European river cruise sector is looking ahead to 2022 with confidence and is pleased to be part of the next MARINE INTERIORS @SMM. SMM is once again focusing on the Cruise & Ferry market which sends a positive signal to the market. It is important for us to meet the decision-makers from the maritime industry at SMM and to be present at the trade fair.

What’s better for business than meeting up with friends, colleagues, new suppliers and like-minded fellow maritime professionals? The global maritime industry will make up for lost time with the upcoming shows and events. Although the Corona pandemic has shown us the possibilities to further embrace the digital ways of communicating and host events, we are convinced that live events such as SMM and MARINE INTERIORS are necessary in order to meet fellow maritime professionals, to discover the latest news, innovations and to create new stories. We can’t wait to show the maritime industry our latest innovations.
